The Benefits of Breastfeeding
There is no man made replacement for mother's milk. Breast milk is the best food for every newborn baby. It is perfectly balanced to provide all the nutrition necessary for an infant to survive and prosper.
In western countries, quite often mothers are not over fond of breastfeeding their babies, this may be due to fear of complications, busy schedules etc. However, in other countries, breastfeeding children is still the normal practice for most mothers. You are wrong if you think that breast-feeding is only for the impoverished and is an outmoded practice, breastfeeding children has numerous benefits both for you and for your baby.
The babies immune system, which is vital in protecting against disease, is helped by the mothers antibodies which are past to the baby in the mother's breast milk. Because the breast milk is exactly the right diet for a baby it also helps protects the baby from heart diseases, crohn's disease, and many other aliments. A lot of people don't realize it but breastfeeding even reduces the risk of obesity when the baby becomes an adult. Studies have shown that breast-feeding children helps in preventing cancer and auto immune conditions in the children. If you decide to feed your baby with formula milk, you must accept that your baby may be at risk for infections in the ear, urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract and will also be more prone to allergies.
So now that we have discussed the various benefits a baby gets from breastfeeding, now, let's see how the mother also benefits.
Breastfeeding your baby reduces the risk of developing breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and osteoporosis. While lactating, you need to follow a balanced diet and make sure you drink a lot of water, but you do not need to increase the number of calories in your diet, so you should not be at risk of gaining weight.
Apart from the physical benefits of breast-feeding, there are also certain emotional benefits for both you and your baby. Breast-feeding helps to strengthen the natural bond that exists between mother and her baby. For the mother, it is a very joyful and a relaxing experience.
Even though many mothers may feel bottle feeding is much more convenient than breastfeeding, please consider the benefits out lined above before you dismiss the idea of breastfeeding. Not only do the benefits of breastfeeding outweigh any complications related to it, but also, once you practice this enjoyable method of feeding your baby, you will feel a more complete mother. Without breastfeeding the experience of motherhood can feel incomplete!

Consider Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is one that you can take seriously if you want to get rid of that hair growing on your butt, on your legs, or on your back. The rates are not all complete, but the studies are showing that a real reduction in hair loss is what you will have when using the laser hair removal system. The laser hair removal system uses light to change how the hair follicle acts. As the laser changes the hair follicle, this is going to put a stop to the hair growth, lessening the amount of hair growing on the back, on the legs, or on the neck.
Laser hair removal is not going to work as well the first session on hair that is light in color such as blond or red, or on gray colored hair. There are no long-term results that can be stated with any real certainty because the laser hair removal procedure is one that has not been established for the long term, it has only been used for the last few years.
For those who have darker skin, that are tanning all the time, that are generally dark in color, or those who are using any type of coloring tanning solution you will be required to talk to your consultant about this. You don't want to have the laser actually burn your skin or discolor the skin in any way, so talking about this topic before hand will give you the best informed decision.
If you are considering using a laser hair removal treatment that is not through a license practitioner you may find that if not done properly you could have the skin turn colors, and the hair is not going to be totally gone. Several treatments are required for any laser hair removal system to be complete and to give you the best overall effects of removing and stopping the hair growth.
Be on the look out for those who are claiming that the process is totally painless. There are some people who are going through the laser hair removal system that experience clogged pores, acnes and other problems, while others do not. The general considerations are that most people are not going to experience these problems or pain from these types of problems but you should also be aware of them. Guaranteed 100% hair removal is not going to happen – no matter where you are going for treatment. No laser hair removal treatment is going to be 100% on the first treatment. Many treatments are needed to stop the hair growth.

Botox Parties
Wrinkle erasing botox injections have come home to roost in the living rooms of average Americans from Arkansas to Arizona. Once thought to be accessible only by the wealthy and well-known, Botox, a drug derived from a poison called Botulinum toxin, has been used for years in doctors' offices to help treat and prevent mild to severe facial wrinkles.
Botox treatments boast diluted samples of nerve blocking toxins, which prevent muscles from contracting during normal facial expressions and help to soften and relax facial wrinkling. For a culture bent on preternaturally youthful looks, this sounds like a miracle cure. Botox is fast, painless, relatively affordable, and it's becoming a way for estheticians, dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons to grow their patient lists.
At a cost of about $350 per injection and a life span of approximately three months, for those of us with furrowed brows, laugh lines and crow's feet and a large measure of vanity, Botox injections may seem like the discount fountain of youth- and with Botox parties growing in popularity, you can get it in the Jones' living room along with hors d'oeuvres and a glass of Chardonnay.
The danger in these parties and with Botox injections in general, is that on occasion, Botox can migrate from the injection area. An injection into a frown line could send the nerve blocking agent to other areas of the face and cause a "sleepy eye" or a frozen appearance. While Botox is not a permanent wrinkle treatment, any amount of time spent with an unmoving expression could cause some distress.
Many doctors strongly disagree with making Botox house calls, saying it invites criticism of their profession, detracts from professionalism and raises the chances for poor results. Although Botox is used mainly to smooth out the wrinkles of an age-obsessed beauty conscious society, the Botox drug itself can also be used to treat excessive sweating in palms and underarms, cerebral palsy in children, and herniated discs. "Botox should not be underestimated as a real drug meant for medical use," says one doctor.
Doctors and surgeons urge their patients to consider botox and any form of cosmetic improvement with some due deliberation. Reflect on the time, place and the person administering the treatment before going under the syringe, and above all, be aware that there are risks associated with botox treatments.
